Nazrul university students vandalise 5 buses on highway

Agitating students of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University vandalised at least five buses on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Trishal upazila this morning.

The students took to streets around 10:00am protesting yesterday's reported altercation between one of their fellows and a bus helper, reports our Mymensingh correspondent.

Some five to seven buses were vandalised and traffic movement was suspended for nearly half an hour on the highway, said Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station.

The law enforcers brought the situation under control around 10:30am.
