A minor boy died after he fell from a BRTC bus near Mirpur-10 circle in the Dhaka this morning.

The deceased, aged about 12 year, was travelling hanging behind the bus when he fell to the ground around 10:30am, said Benazir Ahmed, sub-Inspector of Mirpur Police Station.

The injured boy was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead at 11:30am, the SI said.

Cops seized the BRTC bus and detained its driver Md Shahjahan.

Identity of the deceased could not be known till 12:30pm when the report was filed.
