27 shanties gutted in Ctg

At least 27 shanties were gutted as a fire broke out at a slum in Sadarghat area of Chittagong city this morning.

The fire originated at Anu-Majhirghat slum around 11:00am, said Md Yahia, assistant of director of Agrabad Fire Service and Civil Defence.

On information, four firefighting units rushed to the scene and doused the flame around noon.
