22 crude bombs found in Chapainawabganj

Law enforcers recovered 22 crude bombs from a graveyard in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj early today.

On secret information, police raided the graveyard at Ghorapakhia village and recovered the crude bombs in an abandoned condition around 10:00am, said Moinul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station.

Blockade and hartal supporters might have hid the bombs there for carrying out subversive activities, the OC said.
