IGP’s complaint cell opened

Police headquarters today introduced a complaint cell of Inspector General of Police (IGP) so that anyone can lodge complaint against misdeeds and mismanagement of the law enforcers.

From now, common people will be able to lodge their complaints by calling from a cell phone or by sending email to the complaint cell which will remain open for round the clock, said a press release of the police headquarters.

The respective numbers are: 01769693535 and 01769693536 and email address is complain@police.gov.bd.

Earlier, the common people could have submitted their complaints during office hours.

The complaint cell will be kept under the supervision of the deputy inspector general of police of police headquarters.
