No visible relief activity for flood victims: BNP

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today alleged that the government has no visible relief activity in the flood affected areas.

“There is no visible effort of the government to stand beside the flood victims,” he said while speaking at a milad at the party's Nayapaltan central office to mark party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s 73rd birthday.

The BNP leader said Khaleda has sent an emergency message to the party leaders and activists to visit the flood affected areas with relief materials immediately.

“There is no rice in the country’s reserve. People are not getting relief,” he said.
