6-month-old baby killed in Chandpur cylinder blast

A six-month old baby was killed in a gas cylinder blast in Chandpur Sadar in the wee hours of today.

The deceased, Sumaiya Akhter, died on the spot around 1:00am when the explosion took place at her residence, our Chandpur correspondent reports quoting police.

District police Superintendent Shamsun Nahar said a reason behind the blast was yet to be ascertained.
