Official of Department of Agricultural Extension dies of Covid-19

Md Abul Kasem Azad, deputy director of Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) of Bogura, died of Covid-19 in Mymensingh this morning.

Azad (58) breathed his last around 11:30am while undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, Md Sahaduzzaman, additional deputy director of DAE in Bogura, told our local correspondent.

Hailing from Sirajganj's Tarash upazila, Azad returned to his Mymensingh residence after testing positive for coronavirus in Bogura on June 25, the official added.
