Unidentified youth gunned down in Dhaka

An unidentified youth was shot dead at Kamrangirchar area of Dhaka last night.

Locals heard a gunshot and rushed to its source around 10:30pm and found him lifeless, Shaheen Fakir, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kamrangirchar Police Station, said.

The youth, around 35 years of age, had red t-shirt and trousers on, he said. He was found lying near Eidgah Maidan. He was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

He had at least three bullet wounds, the OC also said after primary investigation.
