Fire at Dhaka RMG factory

A fire broke out at a readymade garment factory in Mirpur-1 of Dhaka tonight.

Being informed, ten units of firefighters reached at the spot and doused the fire around 2:00am, said the duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.

The fire broke out around 12:42am on the fifth-floor of the 10-storied building, said Nazrul Islam officer-in-charge of Mirpur Police Station.

However, the reason behind the fire could not be confirmed immediately.
