The World Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Kristalina Georgieva will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow for a two-day visit to Bangladesh.

During her visit, she will meet the Prime Minister and senior government officials. She will also visit a project supported by the World Bank, a statement released by the bank said today.

She will also join the 3rd executive meeting of the Global Commission on Adaptation to be held in Dhaka on June 10.

The visit will help further deepen the longstanding partnership between Bangladesh and the World Bank Group, the statement added.
