Zahidul Haque made DMD of National Bank

Zahidul Haque has recently been appointed deputy managing director of National Bank PLC.

He joins the bank with more than 26 years of experience spanning information and communication technology and banking, a combination that positions him to lead at the intersection of financial performance and digital innovation.

Before joining National Bank, he served as senior executive vice-president and chief information and technology officer at Eastern Bank PLC, according to a press release.

He spent 15 years building and scaling one of the country’s most capable banking technology organisations.

Haque earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology in Dhaka and an MBA in financial management.
