Prime Bank, Shamadhan Services partner for fund transfer

Prime Bank PLC recently signed an agreement with Shamadhan Services Limited, a digital financial services provider offering a range of services, including mobile wallets, payments, money transfers and merchant solutions.

Under the agreement, Prime Bank customers will be able to transfer funds to Shamadhan accounts at any time through both the MyPrime App and the Shamadhan App.

Shaila Abedin, senior executive vice-president and head of liabilities at the bank, and Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, chief executive officer of the digital financial services provider, signed the agreement in Dhaka, according to a press release.

Joarder Tanvir Faisal, head of cards and retail assets at the bank; AZM Fouz Ullah Chowdhury, head of digital channels; Md Salah Uddin Tanvir, head of product and pricing at the digital financial services provider; and ABM Saiful Bari, head of business and strategy, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present at the ceremony.
