AKIJ Cement holds annual business conference in Bangkok
AKIJ Cement, a concern of the country’s leading industrial conglomerate AKIJ Resource, recently held its annual business conference at a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
Themed “Bonds of Friendship”, the conference brought together 82 of AKIJ Cement’s top-performing retailers from across the country.
Asadul Haque Sufyani, cluster CEO of AKIJ Building Solutions Ltd, inaugurated the conference, according to a press release.
Speaking at the event, Asadul said, “AKIJ Cement’s position today has been made possible by the tireless dedication, trust and cooperation of our retailers. We place the highest value on this relationship and remain committed to moving forward together.”
“We believe that by harnessing the strength of our retailer network, AKIJ Cement will continue to build an even stronger presence in the country’s construction industry in the years ahead,” he added.
Towfique Hasan, chief business development officer of AKIJ Resource, said, “AKIJ Resource has always believed that meaningful human connections are the foundation of sustainable business growth.”
“Our retailers carry our products and services to every corner of the country, and recognising that contribution is our responsibility. ‘Bonds of Friendship’ reflects exactly that spirit,” he added.
Among others, Mustaq Ahmed, cluster chief financial officer of AKIJ Building Materials, and Subrata Kumar Singha, head of marketing at AKIJ Cement, were also present.
