Stocks rebound after two-day losing streak
Stocks gained in early trading today, breaking a two-day losing streak.
The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, added 19.69 points or 0.38 percent to 5,166.19 as of 11:02 am today.
The market showed positive investor sentiment, as 257 issues advanced, 50 declined, and 64 remained unchanged.
Total turnover stood at Tk 76.07 crore.
Atlas Bangladesh Ltd and Emerald Oil Industries led the gains, rising over 9 percent each, while Simtex Industries and Tung Hai Knitting & Dyeing dropped the most, each shedding over 6 percent.
The CSE All Share Price Index also gained, recording 0.09 percent or 14.08 points gains to settle at 14,433.19.
