Stocks break losing streak 

DSEX gains 35.70 points as of 11:10 am 

Investors began trading on the first day of this week with a positive note after the markets suffered from decline in the past week due to the fallout of many listed companies' lacklustre earnings disclosures.  

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 35.70 points or 0.69 percent to 5,141.14 as of 11:10 am today.

Around 223 issues advanced, 58 declined, and 83 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 65.42 crore. 

Hami Industries led the gains, rising over 9 percent, while shares of Regent Textile Mills fell over 5 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.15 percent, gaining 22.81 points to 14326.82.
