Refiners slash soybean oil prices

Refiners have reduced the price of one litre bottles of soybean oil by Tk 10 to Tk 179.

Besides, the price of loose soybean oil has been decreased by Tk 8 per litre to Tk 159 while that of five-litre bottles of the cooking ingredient has been slashed by Tk 43 to Tk 873.

The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners' and Vanaspati Manufacturers' Association yesterday took the decision as prices of edible oil have come down in the international market, according to a press release.
