The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has raised the price of gold once again, citing a rise in pure gold prices in the local market.

According to BAJUS, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori will be Tk 204,283 from November 11, up from Tk 201,775 set on November 1.

This marks an increase of Tk 2,508 per bhori in just nine days.

The latest price adjustment reflects a continuous upward trend in both local and international markets.

Jewellers said the price hike was necessary to align with the rising cost of pure gold in the domestic market.

Gold prices in Bangladesh have experienced volatility in recent months, as global market fluctuations, currency exchange rates, and local demand continue to influence pricing decisions.
