Gold becomes Tk 2,333 a bhori costlier

The jewellers have decided to increase gold prices by Tk 2,333 per bhori from tomorrow.

The Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (Bajus) today took the decision as the prices went up in the international and local bullion markets.

As per the new rate, each bhori of 22-carat gold will cost Tk 82,464, up from the existing Tk 80,132.

Besides, each bhori of 21-carat will be Tk 78,732, up by Tk 2,216 from the existing Tk 76,516.

However, there was no change in the price of silver, the Bajus said in a statement.
