Dhaka stocks rebound in early trade
Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in early trade today, rebounding from the losses of the previous two sessions.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse, increased 7.97 points, or 0.15 percent, to 5,068.98 by 12:06 pm, according to DSE data.
The mood was positive across the board as both the Shariah-compliant DSES and the blue-chip DS30 rose.
Turnover, an indicator of investor activity, reached Tk 213 crore at the time.
Market breadth was positive, with 196 issues advancing against 87 declining, and 105 holding steady.
