The benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) has been rising since morning, posting a 0.27 percent increase as of 11.28 am.

The DSEX stood at 5,230 points, with a turnover of Tk 174 crore.

So far, the prices of 201 stocks have advanced, 99 have declined, and 88 have remained unchanged.

Paramount Insurance PLC posted the highest gain of 9.75 percent, followed by Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited with 9.32 percent.
