DMP didn’t deploy traffic police at many intersections

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) did not deploy traffic police at many intersections in the capital today "considering the prevailing situation."

Munibur Rahman, additional commissioner (traffic) of DMP, told The Daily Star.

Asked whether security concern was a reason the move, he said, "Yes. We considered the security issue too."
