The major opposition alliance Jatiya Oikyafront today promised to reduce internet using cost and voice call rates if they are voted to power in the December 30 general election.
At the same time, they will also establish free wi-fi facilities in different important places including overcrowded places across the country, the manifesto said.
Jatiya Oikyafront today made the pledges in its election manifesto that was unveiled at a hotel in Dhaka ahead of the upcoming general election.
The alliance planned to establish more IT parks and digitalise all land records across the country and will launch a brand new satellite in the right orbit, the manifesto said.
They also promised to train up skilled human resources and make ready the ecosystem for artificial intelligence, robotics and neon technology as preparation for facing the fourth industrial revolution.
The alliance wants to expand the gravity of e-governance and run skill development for young freelancers if they come to power, according to the manifesto.
