Kamruddin Ahmad

Prime Minister Khwajaj Nazimuddin visited East Bengal in January, 1952, and addressed a public meeting on the 26th of January where he declared that Urdu alone must be the State Language of Pakistan.

In November 1968, the struggle against the dictatorial regime of Mohammad Ayub Khan began in the towns and cities of West Pakistan.

Here we publish a letter written by Kamruddin Ahmad to the Law Minister on November 21, 1972. Kamruddin Ahmad was a Language Movement hero, politician, lawyer and diplomat.
