Exhibition opens in Alliance Française to support artist Ritu’s cancer treatment

An exhibition by artist Kazi Salahuddin Ahmed began today at the Alliance Française de Dhaka to raise funds for the treatment of fellow artist Mostofa Al-Tahmid Ritu, a cancer patient.

A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Dhaka, Ritu was diagnosed with advanced abdominal cancer during a surgery last month.

Titled "Urban Images," the exhibition will remain open to visitors from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day until July 17 at Galerie Zoom Open at the Alliance Française de Dhaka in Dhanmondi.

The exhibition is being organised by Ritu's friends to help his family cope with the financial burden of his treatment.
