Angel
I hope they love you like we do
~ The Corrs

June seems to be a very bleak month indeed. Even before the world received the shocking news of the death of Michael Jackson, anyone who'd grown up in the 1970's and had seen The Poster, was already shedding tears for their favourite poster girl.
American Actress Farrah Fawcett first appeared on the horizon in 1976 as one of the three Charlie's Angels from the television series, playing the role of private investigator Jill Munroe. The same year, she posed in her red bathing suit for Life magazine, a picture that would become the highest selling pin-up poster of all time, selling some 12 million copies worldwide.
When the Angels stint ended, she surprised everyone by not fading out as just another blonde bombshell, by taking on challenging television and Off-Broadway roles, proving that behind those long, long legs and that mass of shining golden hair was an actress to be reckoned with.
Fawcett finally lost her three year battle to cancer on June 25.
