Political leaders, diplomats join NCP inauguration
Leaders of political parties and diplomats have joined the National Citizen Party's launch at Dhaka's Manik Mia Avenue this afternoon.
The attendees include Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP senior joint secretary general and Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, BNP joint secretary general, Zonayed Saki, chief coordinator of Gonosamhati Andolon, Jalaluddin Ahmed, general secretary of Khelafat Majlis, Mostafizur Rahmam Iran, chairman of Bangladesh Labour Party, Mia Golam Parwar, secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Kamran Dangal, political counselor of the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka and the ambassador of Vatican to Bangladesh.

Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of the Nagorik Oikya, Ahmed Ali Kashemi, nayeb-e-ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, secretary general of Islami Oikyajote Sakhawat Hossain Razi, Nurul Islam Bulbul, nayeb-e-ameer of Jamaat's Dhaka city south unit, and executive president of Bikalpadhara Bangladesh Major Abdul Mannan are also among the guests.
Meanwhile, activists from different units of Students Against Discrimination and Jatiya Nagorik Committee have been converging on the rally venue from different parts of Dhaka carrying placards and chanting slogans.
Besides, family members of the martyrs and injured protesters of the July uprising have also joined the event.
