BMD forecasts temperature drop, dense fog across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast a drop in temperatures across the country over the next 24 hours, starting at 9:00am today.
Daytime temperatures are expected to decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
The BMD noted that cold feelings may intensify during the day due to dense fog.
This morning, Jashore recorded the country's lowest temperature at 12.8 degrees Celsius, while Sitakunda experienced the highest temperature yesterday at 30 degrees Celsius.
In Dhaka, the minimum temperature this morning was 16.3 degrees Celsius, with yesterday's maximum reaching 26.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the latest weather bulletin, weather conditions are expected to remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky over the country during the next 24 hours.
Moderate to dense fog is likely to occur from midnight to morning and may persist till noon in some areas.
The BMD also warned that dense fog could temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication.
