Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast drop of temperature by 1-2 degrees Celsius over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and slightly fall elsewhere over the country tonight.

However, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country, BMD said in its latest weather bulletin this morning.

Today, BMD recorded the country's lowest minimum temperature at 11.4 degrees Celsius in Sreemangal.

Besides, Rangpur division's minimum temperature was 11.8 degrees Celsius in Tetulia while Rajshahi division's minimum temperature was 11.5 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi.

Dhaka's minimum temperature was 17 degrees Celsius.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in 24 hours commencing 9:00am today, BMD said.

However, light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to next morning, it added.
