Bangladesh-India conduct foreign office talks
The Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) between Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Jashim Uddin and Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri took place today at the state guest house Padma.
Key issues on the agenda included trade, visa policies, connectivity, border killings, water-sharing, and other matters of mutual interest.

The foreign secretary will brief media about the outcome of the meeting later in the day.
Following the meeting, Misri is scheduled to attend a luncheon and hold a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at 3:00pm.
Around 9:00am, the Indian foreign secretary arrived in Dhaka for the first high-level meeting between India and Bangladesh following the recent political changes here.
Following the discussions, Misri is scheduled to depart Dhaka later tonight.
