Khulna power plant goes out of order again

The Goalpar Power Station (GPS) went out of order from 6:00am yesterday again due to major leakages in boiler tubes.This is for the third time in last two months the 110-megawatt power plant has become inoperative creating severe power outage in the south-western region. The people of Khulna city are fed up with the loadshedding of electricity at short intervals.
