Jeremy Snape would like to rejoin England's coaching staff for the World Twenty20 if he is not picked to play.Snape, who is in the provisional 30-man squad, coached at the World Cup in March but was not retained after taking part in a late-night drinking session. "If I could help either as a player or as part of the coaching set up that would be great," he told BBC Sport. "Playing in this competition and sharing some of my ideas might help me integrate into the set-up long-term." The inaugural international Twenty20 tournament takes place in South Africa in September. Spinner Snape, who captained Leicestershire to 2006 Twenty20 Cup glory in 2006, also starred in their 2004 success. He is one of several perceived "specialists" in the shortest form of the game in the provisional squad. England's selectors will announce the final squad of 15 on Monday, with Chris Schofield and Darren Maddy also waiting to see what approach they will take. Snape was asked to help England at the World Cup in part because of his experience in sporting psychology -- he runs his own consultancy called Sporting Edge Solutions. He agreed a short-term contract to run through the group stages. But it was not extended after he was seen drinking in St Lucia on the same night that five England players were fined and Andrew Flintoff was suspended.
