The dead were identified as, Akhtar Hossain, 18, Selim, 25, Shah Alam, 16 and Moyez Uddin, 18.

Rickshaw-puller Ahter Hossain, a resident of Bizli Mahalla slum, was electrocuted around 9:00pm on Tuesday when he touched one of the sides of his tin-shed house.

Locals said one of the snapped electric wires was touching his tin-shed house which caused the electrocution.
