2 imposters arrested in Barisal

Banaripara police yesterday arrested two fake army personnel with the help of local people from Chowmohani village under Banaripara upazila in the district, police said.They arrestees were identified Noor Mohammad Hawlader, 40, and Deen Mohammad, 25, of Gaila village under Agailjhara upazila of the district. In the guise of army personnel they took shelter in the house of one Dulal Malaker on Tuesday and they were trying to collect toll form some villagers. Yesterday evening, they rounded up one Johan Sarker of the village and took Tk 1,500 for his release. Later, they went to Chowmohani Bazaar and tried to arrest another person. On suspicion, locals challenged them and caught them.
