Alleged robber lynched

An alleged robber was lynched at Arai Hazar in the district on Tuesday, police sources said.The deceased was identified as Arafat, 28. The police said the incident took place when a gang of robbers numbering seven to eight was taking preparation for committing a robbery on the Arai Hazar road. Locals caught one of the robbers and beat him to death.
