2 DCC sanitary inspectors held on bribe charge

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two sanitary inspectors of the health department of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) as they were allegedly taking bribes from bakery owners in the city's Badda area on Monday evening. The arrestees are Makhon Howlader, 45, and Abdus Salam, 43. After interrogation, the Rab handed over them to Badda Police Station and a case was filed against them yesterday.
