Low over northeast Bay, adjoining area

A low has developed over northeast Bay and adjoining area yesterday.

It is likely to intensify further as deep convection is still taking place over north Bay.

Squally weather may affect the ports, said a Met office bulletin.

Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain in shelter until further notice.
