170 bullets found on city roadside

A total of 170 bullets were found abandoned on roadside at Uttara in the city yesterday. The bullets were wrapped in newspaper beside a boundary wall of a house at Road No-18 in Sector 4. Some street children found the newspaper packet containing the ammunition. As they started playing with the bullets on the road, locals noticed the matter and informed the Uttara police who recovered the bullets in the evening. Police said the bullets were made in England. Some criminals might have bought those and left them on the roadside fearing raid by joint forces, they added.
