It is a fact well known that the cantonment residence of Khaleda Zia was a gift to her from the then BNP government. This exclusive privilege was something that other family members of previous heads of the govt. were either denied or not provided as gift (including the family members of the assassinated father of the nation). It is very surprising that Khaleda Zia continues to stay inside the cantonment, despite the fact that she is heading a political party!
