5 of a family injured in armed attack

Five members of a family were severely injured in an attack by an armed gang at Kashipur village in Sharsha yesterday. Witnesses said the gang led by Hazrat and Ismail launched the attack on the family of Abdul Jalil, 45, in the afternoon over previous enmity. The injured -- Abdul Jalil, Manowara Begum, 30, Mizan Mondal, 22, Shabuj, 16 and Jabbar, 13, -- are now fighting for their lives at Navaron Hospital. A case was filed with Sharsha Police Station.
