Woman crushed under wheels of train

A woman, aged about 85, was killed under the wheels of a train at Roghunathpur rail gate while crossing the rail line at around 3:00pm on Saturday.The victim was identified as Amena Khatun, 85, wife of Banu Shaha of Roghunathpur village. Witnesses said a Khulna-bound speeding train ran over Amena when she was crossing the rail line, killing her on the spot. Railway police reached the spot and recovered the body.
