Mamun's associate held in Gazipur

Joint forces arrested a close associate of controversial businessman Giyasuddin Al Mamun at Kaliakoir in Gazipur yesterday afternoon.The arrestee was identified as Akram Hossain Khan Shanju, 40, a ready-made garments businessman. Various police sources said Shanju had close connection with Mamun. Shanju was handed over to the Kaliakoir Police Station, which was confirmed by the Officer in Charge (OC) Shahjahan Kabir. Joint forces were interrogating Shanju as of filling this report at 8:20pm.
