The deceased was identified as Tajul Islam Hridoy, 10, a student of class V of Abdul Jalil High School at Pubapara in Bawnia area under Turag Police Station.

On information, police rushed to the spot and found the body hanging from a rod of a pillar with a towel.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Family sources said they scolded Hridoy in the morning as he denied studying. Afterwards, he went out of the house and did not return home.
