The arrestees were identified as Akramujjaman, 40, Faruq Hossain, 40, Rejaul Karim, 37, Piyar Ali, 60, Arif Hossain, 35, Khokon Miah, 23, Shaheen, 25, Shahjahan, 40, Hannan 37, Shamim 25, Nurujjaman, 30, Abdul Hannan, 26, Shahid, 25, Zahidul Islam, 33, Ashraful Alam, 29, Mohammad Din Babu, 56 and Ali, 28.

Acting on a tip off, a team of DB conducted a raid at around 12:15pm in front of the passport office in Agargaon and recovered 24 illegal passports from the possession of 15 brokers after searching their body.
