Around 7000 children fall victim to cancer every year, they said, adding that 90 percent of them die even before the disease is diagnosed.

Canadian High Commissioner Barbara Richardson, Prof Dr MR Khan, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr MA Mannan, World Cancer Federation (WCF) Founder Dr G Morrison and Ashic Foundation President Afzal Hossain Chowdhury, Trustee Ashif Hossain Chowdhury and former secretary Badiur Rahman were also present at the seminar.
