Fire at fan Factory

Four more people succumbed to their burn injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the last two days who were injured in the fire that broke out at an electric fan factory at Jatrabari on Wednesday night, raising the death toll to six.Najma Akter, 16 and Nasrin Akter, 16 died yesterday while Mohammad Rubel, 14, and Siraj Mia, 22 died on Sunday. Earlier, on April 27, Panna Akter, 20 and Shahnur Begum, 22, succumbed to their injuries at DMCH. At least 12 workers, six of them women, were admitted to DMCH following the devastating fire at the factory named Three Star. DMCH doctors said the condition of the remaining six is also critical.
