With the outcome, Muktijoddha took the joint lead with another metropolis club Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra securing 10 points from five matches. On the other hand, Chittagong Abahani remained at previous three points from five outings.

Captain Saifur Rahman Moni, midfielder Arman Miah, right-winger Firoz Mahmud Titu and defender Hasan Al Mamun scored one goal each for the all Reds.
