Mahmudul Haq awarded 'Sultan Padak'

Professor of the Fine Arts Institute of Dhaka University and former director general of the National Museum eminent artist Mahmudul Haq has been awarded 'Sultan Padak'.Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Quamrul Hasan handed over the medal and citation on behalf of SM Sultan Foundation to Mahmudul Haq on Friday at the Sultan Mela in the city. The eight-day mela (fair) was organised marking the 82nd birth anniversary of legendary artist SM Sultan.
