15 hurt in gas cylinder blast

Fifteen workers, four seriously, were injured when a cylinder of ammonia gas exploded at an under-construction fish feed company at Rupsha upazila in the district yesterday.Police said the incident occurred at Jalalabad Fish Feed Company at 2:00pm. The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH). Of them, the condition of Rowshan Akhtar, Mintu, Khaleq and Zahid was stated to be critical, hospital sources said.
