Roma pair Rodrigo Taddei and Doni will be rested for this weekend's league match against Ascoli to keep them fresh for next week's crucial Champions League last-16 second leg clash against Lyon.Midfielder Taddei has a slight injury while Brazilian goalkeeper Doni will make way for his understudy Gianluca Curci. Midfielder Daniele De Rossi does make Saturday's trip to Ascoli, though, despite picking up a knock in training on Thursday. Roma, second in the Italian league, drew 0-0 at home to Lyon in their first leg match and will be seen as the underdogs in Tuesday's game at the Stade Gerland.
